Bernadette is a chartered architect, chartered arbitrator and an accredited adjudicator. 

Bernadette qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1994 and later became a Chartered Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1999. In 2014, Bernadette undertook the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration.

Bernadette is a Fellow of the Dispute Board Federation and is a listed Expert panel member for construction.

Bernadette is a CIArb panel member for adjudicators.

She is also a registered Fire Risk Assessor with The Institution of Fire Engineers.

Bernadette’s scope of work encompasses the various roles associated with the CDM Regulations, dispute management, fire safety, health and safety and training.

She provides assistance and guidance to clients, developers, contractors and designers at various stages throughout the life cycle of the project, from inception to management of the finished project.

Bernadette is the developer and architect of Reef Villa & Spa, a seven bedroom boutique hotel in Sri Lanka.

In May 2005, Bernadette undertook the Dispute Board Federation FIDIC Total Immersion Program.

In February 2016, Bernadette will undertake the Dispute Board Federation Intensive Dispute Board Training programme.

Projects worked on include hotels, retail premises, offices, gyms, live work units, restaurants and residential accommodation.
